14th Antea Worldwide Conference reunites more than 100 attendees in Barcelona
After near 3 years holding the conferences virtually, last 30th September we finally had the opportunity to meet again in person. And what a better place than in Barcelona, one of the most attractive destinations and Antea’s headquarters.
The event was attended by more than 100 members, including some of the newest members from Uganda, Egypt, Lebanon, and Belgium.
The conference programme started with an official welcome covering the latest developments during the year, which involved: a membership report, strategy and expansion plan for the coming year, updates on ongoing initiatives related to marketing and communication elements, as well as the Annual General Meeting.
In this occasion, the agenda made it possible the complementation between different and dynamic presentations on subjects such as actions to attract new clients, presenting some member’s examples and combined with a group activity where attendees discussed best practices to be implemented. The program also covered a panel discussion about challenges on human resources as well as a lecture by an external speaker on “Postcards from tomorrow: 4+1 leverages for the firms in the Future”.
One of the most relevant points of the conferences was that, after many years, this was the last edition in which Antoni Gómez participated as the CEO after announcing his retirement. José Luís Galipienso, from Barcelona, will be appointed taking the position.
We had the chance to reunite and spend great time together surrounded by a relaxed atmosphere while enjoying the gastronomy and the reputable architecture of Barcelona.
